PRIMARY ARMS: PROTECTIVE MEASURES AGAINST COVID-19

HOUSTON, TEXAS – Primary Arms has announced a new series of protective measures to help protect customers and employees from the spread of the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19. While Primary Arms remains fully operational for all customers through this pandemic, Primary Arms employees are taking every precaution possible to minimize exposure from order receipt to final shipment and hand-off.

These changes start behind the scenes, where Primary Arms has enacted intensive staffing and hygienic standards. To enter the building, all staff must pass a temperature check. Distribution center teams have been split across more shifts, and breaks have been staggered to minimize grouping. In addition, the order-picking process has been adjusted to limit staff proximity with floor sections taped off to demonstrate proper distancing. Primary Arms has also invested in additional cleaning teams and a full anti-microbial treatment that will protect surfaces for up to 90 days. In appreciation for the distribution center’s exceptional efforts, all distribution center employees will receive increased pay throughout the regulated operations.

For customers and suppliers, many of these changes will go unseen, though Primary Arms is also adding additional protections for visitors and storefront pick-ups. Already, non-essential visitors have been barred from entry into the building. Storefront orders have transitioned to curbside pickup, which will help customers receive their orders faster at less risk. For FFL pickups, customers will be contacted by customer service with a special appointment time, allowing for quick and hygienic processing.
